Fribi 10mg is a prescription drug that has Clobazam as its active ingredient. Clobazam belongs to the class of drugs known as benzodiazepines. It is used for treating extreme anxiety and also FIRBI 10MG TABLET serves as an auxiliary treatment in controlling seizures caused by epilepsy. This drug functions through enhancing the relaxing action of GABA which is a neurotransmitter in the brain.
Important Information

Main Uses: Extreme, short-term anxiety and control of seizures (e.g., Lennox-Gastaut syndrome).
Mode of Administration: This drug is taken orally, one or two times per day, either with or without food.
Dosage:

Adults and adolescents (more than 15 years): In case of anxiety, the normal dosage is 20 mg/day while in case of epilepsy, 5-80 mg/day is usually required.
Elderly people: 10-15 mg/day is normally adequate due to increased sensitivity.
