Revolade 25mg tablet

Revolade 25mg (Eltrombopag) is an oral TPO receptor agonist. It works by stimulating the production of platelets in bone marrow to help reduce bruising and bleeding. Revolade 25 mg is used for treatment of chronic ITP, SAA and low platelet counts in Hepatitis C patients.Key Facts & UsageActive Ingredient: Eltrombopag olamine (equivalent to 25 mg Eltrombopag free acid).Description of Tablet: White, biconvex, film-coated tablets; debossed with ‘GS NX3′ and ’25’ on one side.Dosage Instructions: Should always be taken whole without chewing or crushing, and on an empty stomach.Food Interactions: At least 1 hour should pass either before or after meals. Dairy foods and calcium-rich juices should be avoided 2 hours prior to and 4 hours after the intake of Revolade 25mg because calcium reduces the absorption of Revolade.Blood Tests: Regular blood tests are required (liver, kidney and platelet monitoring).
