Monofer 100mg injection

Monofer 100mg INJECTION  is a product that contains iron as ferric derisomaltose (iron isomaltoside 1000) and is administered intravenously in cases where iron deficiency anemia exists but cannot be effectively treated through oral iron administration.

Active Ingredients: Ferric derisomaltose (100 mg of iron in 1 mL of solution).Packaging: Usually comes in single dose glass ampules (e.g., 5 mL ampules containing 500 mg MONOFER 10o MG f iron, or 1 mL, 5 mL, 10 mL regional volume presentation).Physical State: Sterile dark brown aqueous solution for intravenous injection/infusion.

Purpose: “Used in Iron deficiency anemia with intolerance to oral iron or there is a need to deliver iron rapidly.” As stated by Function: Bio available iron delivery to reti endothelial system directly without mucosal regulation to rapidly replenish haemoglobin and iron body stores.

Route: Only intravenous (IV) route – slow IV bolus injection or MONOFER 100MG INJECTION IN PAKISTAN dilution for drip infusion under professional supervision.Observation: “The patient should be observed for adverse effects for at least 30 minutes following each Monofer injection.”
